Explaining Nihilism,Optimism and everything in between.

Say it..

An excerpt from one of my favorite book.

“Love? I need lot of love”, I said.

“Of course, you do. And everyone else does too. Funny we never say it. It is okay to scream in public if you are hungry “I’m starving”. Its okay to make a fuss if you are tired “I’m so sleepy”. But somehow we cannot say ” I just need some more love”. Why can’t we say it? It is a basic need”

I found it deeply moving, Its just a very basic need.

Of late I’ve have been so happy about being on the receiving end of lot of love, be it my sisters, my mommy or my friends. Its time I start to pay back just more that I used too.

Thank you… All of you.. :)

Also a lot of my female friends have openly named me “such a nice guy” :) :)

What does one want more in life???

King..

I walk a lonely path, the path to perdition

Awaiting apocalypse for greater good

The  world hardly alluring, Fiestas seldom frivolous

With lost instinct to smile I walk a lonely path

Thinking of older times ,Times when I was a king

King who achieved nothing, Save an enlightened mind

Greed lead times then, Zealot I was

Money, Land, Power was mantra blinding the rest

Waged were bloody battles Victorious was I in most

Victory, how very wrongly understood

What is victory ? More money, land ?

So did I think back then.

Came a fine day, when I was out hunting

Fate made me meet with some one.

Some one, what a name for that divine soul

Which showed a true life

A life with a meaning, a life sans life

Life that’s life.

Love that made life, that made god

God that made love, god who is love

Love  is the mantra above all

I was in love from that moment

In love with plants, animals, humans

Fire, Air, Water, Land

Soon I did know, its that love

That enabled life, transcending barriers.

Religions preach it, religions derive from it

Religion are based on it

Love is divinity, god of gods

Love is the divine mother.

In search of her did my expedition began,

To be stopped by the realization

That I’m her and she is in all

Its her power to drive from inward

I followed her, all through my short life

To understand why was I born

The duty of birth is horrendous ,

But after fulfilling my share,

I look forward to meeting her,

Journeying the path to perdition

Perdition is the worlds view, afterall

It hasn’t realized her presence yet.

WTF???

Not that frequently does wtf moments happen in ones life, well not in my life atleast but does god leave anybody alone… nay.. I didn’t escape the fate either.

I was on a transit from my college to my home on my super powerful TVS XL Super( Top speed 55 kmph & 45 kmpl..guys believe me.. we do have such splendid things in life) when a traffic cop flagged me down.

I should tell you that though I live in a rather city-ised village called Trichy where checks are common, I have never ever been caught by a traffic cop before.

Back to story, the traffic cop asked for papers of the vehicle and I showed him, then the fateful moment came.

Cop : Show me your license

I proudly pulled out my license which I acquired two years ago and showed him. He scrutinized that small card for like ages and finally asked

“Thambi, Are you really 21 yrs old??? You dont even look like 18″…

WTF……………………..
