    The Stranger…

Got this story as a forward. It is just amazing and I wanted to share it. It starts from next paragraph.

She was getting engaged and all I could do was stand by and applaud along with all. I didn’t dare open my mouth for the fear of saying something stupid, something like “I Love You”.

I remembered the other day when she had come to me with red eyes. Her ‘best friend’ was going away. It had never bothered me that her best friend was a guy. I thought I was above such things, but her tears awoke the sin of jealousy in my heart. Fighting it, I had consoled her and given her chocolates to eat. She proceeded to rest her head in the crook of my arm and promptly fell asleep. I chuckled at her baby like innocence. But now, as I applauded, I felt something stabbing at my heart.

    She was getting married.

I saw her come down the stairs decked up in her bridal finery.  Never had i seen her this pretty. I saw her taking the seven rounds around the sacred fire with the man I had come to hate, holding his hand. I saw her exchanging garlands with him.

She was a total stranger to me now.

I was standing near the car when they both came over to me. I wondered what they wanted. I wondered how to say farewell when they departed, nevertheless as they touched my feet, I blessed them. She was openly crying. I told her not to worry and that I’ll always be there for her. She responded by hugging me and I was not able to stop my tears anymore.

Wish you a happy married life my dear daughter.

    Feelings n Girls!!!!

Now all those dirty minds… Save yourself…

I’ve always heard from my English lecturer that the primary difference between a native speaker of the English language and an Indian lies not in the way one speaks publicly or during a presentation but in the ability to express one’s feelings. You will sure realize this when you ace through a presentation with accented English without a problem but start to stammer when someone asks you about how you felt about something, but holds good for most men and the truth is most women are exempted from it.

Girls or Women in general are any day better than men in expressing their feelings not only through their eyes or faces but through words, rock solid words. Do girls have some special thing inside them which makes this possible? The veracity of my statement can be verified from everyday examples and examples dating to time immemorial.

Most posts by Honey Bee,Scribbler, Suraksha and at ‘fantasies and fantods‘ deal with how they feel about everyday happenings in their life while most men including me write about general things and funny things that happen. I especially loved the story presence from ‘Of fantasies and fantods’. Also women make great romantic writers than men due to this reason. All of you who are against this, I may suggest reading writings of Aandaal namely ‘Thirupaavai‘ or ‘Thiruvaimozhi‘.

These poems though considered sacred have a lot of romantic ideas to them. More than anyone could have imagined. Just got through this blog.

What enables women to bring out such fine writings? I’m in look out for answers.

    Divine Love – Part II

Mr.Saxena was amazed at the sudden change in behavior of his daughter. He was wondering how his daughter who never cared how she looked or what dress she wore before she spent three hours that day just manicuring her finger nails.

Don’t understand a thing? May be read you should this first!!!

cafe coffee day, evening of the day when shashank called shwetha first

Shwetha was nervous about the meeting with Shashank. Waiting for someone whom you have never met especially if they are going to be your better half isn’t an easy thing even with the cappuccino coffee and Shwetha was no exception. At the distance was a man who was slowly coming towards the shop and his gait, the sparkle in the eye attracted Shwetha from the first sight. When she was lost in the admiration of his sheer beauty little did she notice that the man had come and had seated himself in front of her.

Shashank : Hello Miss Shwetha glad meeting you.

Shwetha : Hello you must be Mr Shashank right? How did you know I was Shwetha?

Sha : That was simple google was my detective.

Shw: Cool…. So you are a computer engineer?

Sha : No using google doesn’t mean i’m into computers. I’m an particle physicist.

Shw: Particle physicist, as in the sense you study about mesons and stuff?

Sha : Ya but I work on antimatter.

Sha : Hmm… enough about my profession, what do you read? Ever read Paulo Cohelo?

    Shw :Yes the Alchemist…

And the conversations were countless.Shwetha began seeing Shashank more and more and the elation and respect she felt for her grew with each meeting.

It was usual for Shashank to call Shwetha up anytime he wanted discussing on topics which any other girl would have considered too high to her standards. The other day he called up

Sha: “Hey just found out a star with a violet shift”

Shw :”You serious??? I’ve never heard of one before. I  thought red shifts were the norm”

Sha: “You guess!!! Contradicting with the bing bang theory isn’t it?”

Shw :”Absolutely come on man you are gonna be famous”

Sha : “Oh chuck it darling.Lets see”

Shwetha found Shashank, though a geek had all the qualities of  a perfect man any girl would have longed for. Finally she decided if it wasn’t going to be him she would never marry any other man and decided to break the news to him.

Shw : “Hey Hello want to speak something personal to you. Can you come to taj roof top restaurant today?”

    Sha  :” Sure!!!”

    Taj roof top restaurant

Shw : “Shashank I don’t know just how to start. It’s been a wonderful experience for me, I just can’t forget the times I spent with you. I keep ruminating the conversations between us, your actions at my home when I sleep, when I bath when I do any thing. You have kept me occupied and my heart is just so full of you that I find myself doing things that I never imagined I would ever do. I’m in love with you and I want to marry you”

Sha : “Thanks Shwetha. Even I felt the same towards you but I’m afraid there is a problem”

Shw : “Problem??? What is it?? You know dear, I will do anything for you”

Sha : “Anything??? Very good Shwetha then just die for me, then we shall live forever”

Even as Shwetha was trying to understand what was happening, Shashank jumped out from the roof and floated away.
